TempoBet Renews Barca and Real Contract
Table of Contents
They’ve recently made an important move into the Premier League via a betting partner deal with Fulham FC but away from the EPL, TempoBet have already been enjoying a presence in Spain’s La Liga. The agreements concerned are set to stay in place for 2018/19 with the news that the operator has renewed an advertising deal with Barcelona and Real Madrid.
As two giants of the game in Spain and beyond, the arrangement with the clubs is a big boost for the sports betting company who will become even more familiar to La Liga fans during the 2018/19 season.
Away Days
The terms of the arrangement are slightly complicated in the sense that the agreement is for away games only but it does include El Clasico – the name given to the fixture when the teams meet each other. The first of these 2018/19 fixtures takes place in October and this is when exposure will be at its highest.
The deal also extends beyond Spain into other parts of Europe and into Latin America and in total, 34 fixtures are covered. In terms of what it provides, the agreement consists of perimeter advertising via LED boards during the games in question. The digital technology involved is at the pinnacle of its design and there will be no avoiding the TempoBet name for those at the Stadiums or watching live TV broadcasts.
It’s clearly good news for the operator who have welcome the announcement enthusiastically.
Concerted Push
Michael Corrado, Managing Director of Tempobet commented:
The renewal would help with a concerted push to internationalise the brand, whose .com site is available around the globe.
He added:
La Liga is one of the most popular leagues in world football, with particular resonance in Europe and Spanish-speaking LatAm, and we’re thrilled to have renewed our agreement.
Being able to offer different regions of the world a bespoke advertising experience that underpins our aggressive consumer price positioning, is hugely exciting for us and is just one more step in the rapid global growth of the Tempobet brand.
There appears to be no comments from either of the clubs concerned or from the league as a whole but perhaps that’s no great surprise. The benefits will largely go to TempoBet who will have parted with a huge sum which will be ploughed into the coffers of two sides who may barely notice it.
Progressive
TempoBet will be a familiar brand to bettors in Spain but this innovative deal, while it is based around pure advertising, will take them on a trip around Europe and beyond. It’s obviously been a success and after being in place for some time, the operator have been happy to renew for 2018/19 and we may well see it extended after the current season comes to an end.
The news also marks the continuation of an expansion programme that has seen TempoBet move into new territories and it comes shortly after a betting partnership deal with English Premier League side Fulham FC was announced. Clearly these are exciting times for TempoBet and it will be interesting to see if any further deals are confirmed during the 2018/19 football campaigns across Europe.
