Redbet Review

Redbet may be a relatively new name for some but in fact, they have been around since 2004 and in the digital age that’s an impressive longevity. They are bigger in mainland Europe but if you are in the UK or elsewhere and haven’t been aware of them, there are lots of positive points to consider if you’re looking for a new account.

The company is licensed in Malta and to start things off, there is a generous welcome offer which is very competitive in today’s crowded market.
Redbet Welcome Bonus and Ongoing Promotions

The welcome offer at Redbet is equivalent to a 50% match on your first deposit and this can give you back a maximum figure of 50 Euros or currency equivalent. It requires just a few basic details to sign up but you must remember to enter the promo code welcome1 in the relevant box.

All new players from Denmark will get 50 Cash Spins on the hugely popular slot ‘Book od Dead’ upon sign up. Any deposit & bet between 75 KR and 500 KR will be matched 100% in ‘Ekstra Bets’ after the first qualifying bet has been settled with odds of 1.8

There is an 11x rollover requirement at odds of 2.00 or higher and the minimum deposit required is 20 Euros so while these may be higher than other promotions that are out there, it’s worth following the terms for what is a generous extra credit.

Currently, Redbet have an additional offer for existing customers called Brand New Goal which can earn a series of 5 Euro free bet tokens while the operator is also celebrating the arrival of the new NFL season with a similar deal.

Sports Markets and Odds Value

The list of sporting events is located logically on the left hand edge of the page and it starts with what Redbet call ‘Hotlinks’ – popular events that are coming up and are attracting a lot of attention. Overall, this isn’t perhaps one of the bigger list of markets but all the popular events are included in the following:

Football, Beach Soccer, American Football, Australian Rules Football, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Cycling, Golf, Handball, Ice Hockey, MMA, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Snooker, Tennis, Volleyball

Markets for politics are also included and there is a small but growing list of eSports which is good to see as this sector starts to build. Prices can’t be checked on the comparison sites as yet but early indicators show good value in the core areas such as football and tennis.

Banking

The choice of eWallet providers is wider than most here at Redbet and alongside the obvious names such as Skrill and Neteller, you can also make use of PaySafeCard, Trustly, Qiwi and Przelewy. Also, all forms of major debit card are acceptable.

Redbet provide a separate information page relating to deposits and withdrawals – there are small fees for certain eWallets so you can study this in full before deciding which method to use.

Customer Service

The support section is at the bottom right corner of the home page and you can start with the FAQ list which is reasonably comprehensive. Alternatively, click on the contact button and this brings up a link to live chat or a webmail form.

Overall, this is a strong area for Redbet with all bases, with the possible exception of a telephone number, covered.

Conclusion

Redbet’s strengths lie in their value for money and that starts with a good set of promotions for both new and existing customers. From there, prices are strong in all departments and particularly in popular markets such as football.

Perhaps the list of sports isn’t as wide as you might find elsewhere but that value makes Redbet another good addition to your list of sportsbooks.

Pros (+)

  • Welcome bonus worth up to 50 Euros as a 50% match on opening deposit
  • Good choice of ongoing promotions to reward loyal customers
  • Wide selection of funding options

Cons (-)

  • There are few downsides to Redbet but some players might like to see a greater selection of niche sports
