Nottingham Forest Sign BetBright Deal

Having once been at the pinnacle of European football, things have been more subdued for Nottingham Forest in recent years. Previously, the club had famously won European trophies under Brian Clough but for some time now they have been established in England’s second tier.
Fans will be hoping that the 2018/19 campaign is the one where Forest can finally mount a challenge for promotion back into the Premier League and that aim could be boosted by a new sponsorship deal with iGaming firm BetBright.
Significant
The new contract has been described as one of the most significant financial deals in the club’s history and it will see BetBright’s logo emblazoned on playing shirts from the start of 2018/19 onwards.
Nottingham Forest are no strangers to betting brands having been previously sponsored by 888Sport but by all accounts this is a much bigger contract and one that underlines the club’s aims to push for promotion back to the top tier.
This is the first time that BetBright have entered into a front of shirt deal and the commitment they have shown has been welcomed by their new partner.
Desire
The club are delighted to have secured another key partner for the 2018-19 season.
said Forest’s Chief Commercial Officer David Cook.
Yet again we have not only been able to secure one of the most significant financial deals in the club’s history, but also a partner that has shown a unique desire to be part of the project at Nottingham Forest.
The supporters of Nottingham Forest are of huge importance to us and we look for our partners to have a similar fan-first approach.
BetBright is thrilled that our first shirt agreement is with a club as iconic as Nottingham Forest and whose aspirations are so closely aligned to our own.
added BetBright Managing Director Sarne Lightman.
As Forest are committed to continually improving for their fans, BetBright is committed to continually improving for its users.
Vital Period
Having changed manager a number of times in recent years, Forest will now be looking for a period of stability under current boss Aitor Karanka. The club is also enjoying relatively new ownership with Evangelos Marinakis taking over in May 2017 and after years in the lower reaches of the championship, now could be the time that Forest are finally ready to challenge for promotion.
Karanka has a competitive squad at his disposal and he has recently been active in the transfer market, bringing back former Forest favourite Michael Dawson after his contract with Hull City expired. The Portuguese pair of Joao Carvalho and Diogo Goncalves have also signed up and while the new additions include a free transfer and a loan deal, they could represent the start of a busy summer at the City ground.
BetBright have also stated that they have Premier League aspirations and the two parties look to be a perfect fit for the new campaign. The bookmaker has been around for some time without quite getting into the mainstream so this deal could help with those aims while for Nottingham Forest, a return to the top flight of English football is long overdue.
