LV BET partners in with German Ice Hockey

It’s been a busy period for sponsorship and commercial partnership deals involving betting companies and in the latest announcement, it’s been confirmed that LV BET will be lending its support to the German Ice Hockey Federation eV (DEB).

The deal makes the betting brand an official partner, allowing for considerable exposure via a sport that has a huge following both in Germany and in mainland Europe as a whole.

Benefits

The announcement states that LV BET will earn that exposure through televised sporting events and the majority of this will come from inside of the arenas. Billboard advertising and video advertising will be particularly prominent along with additional presence from what is termed as ‘promotional areas’.

LV BET will also appear on a dedicated sponsor wall and will receive a number of match tickets so it will be interesting to see how those will be distributed once they have been allocated.

Commitment

The news doesn’t confirm the exact details of this arrangement and as such, the precise term is not known, nor are we aware of the financial sums involved but it’s naturally a tie-in that has been welcomed on both sides.

The arrangement between LV BET and the DEB could potentially lead to some bonuses for both new and existing customers of the sportsbook brand. As we’ve seen with other contracts where ticket are passed on as part of the arrangement, this can result in some competitions where packages can be won for those looking to attend games so while nothing has been confirmed on that side as yet, there is a perfect opportunity for the operator to arrange it.

As for the incentives that are already here, this looks to be a good balance with both parties set to benefit strongly from this deal. Ice Hockey has a huge following in Germany with audiences attending in their thousands at the various arenas up and down the country while many thousands more will catch the live broadcasts that are beamed into their homes.

But this isn’t a sport like football that earns many millions from those broadcast deals and from the sponsors who are lining up to back the individual teams in the Bundesliga and beyond. Funding through these avenues is vital so it’s certain that the DEB will be very glad to have LV Bet on board.

In turn, LV BET should look forward to great exposure in Germany and possibly beyond so it will be fascinating to see how this partnership develops over the coming months.
