Ladbrokes Agrees Deal with All-Weather Championships

The sports betting company Ladbrokes has long been a supporter of British horse racing and the operator has moved to strengthen its position in the sport with a new partnership deal. In the latest announcement, it’s been confirmed that Ladbrokes will act as one of the key sponsors for the upcoming All-Weather Championships.

The new deal is for three years and will consolidate a partnership that first began when the series was launched in 2013.

Familiar Face

When the All-Weather Championships were first introduced five years ago, Ladbrokes were one of the founding sponsors and for the 2018 renewals, the company is providing direct sponsorship to the Fillies and Mares and the Three Year Old Categories.

Included in those races will be high profile renewals such as the £100,000 Ladbrokes Burradon Stakes at Newcastle on Good Friday – April 19, 2019. The operator will get significant exposure from the full six months of this contract with Arena Racing Company (ARC) who oversee the courses in question and they’re naturally delighted to have got this over the line.

Established and Successful

Simon Clare

Simon Clare, Ladbrokes Coral PR Director, said:

The All-Weather Championships has very quickly become a firmly established and very successful part of the British racing calendar and we are proud that we were one of the founding partners of what was such an innovative new initiative when launched in 2013.

It is therefore great that Ladbrokes is back involved as a partner of the Series and we look forward to contributing significantly to the future success of the All-Weather Championships.

David Leyden Dunbar Director of Partnerships at ARC added:

We are delighted to welcome Ladbrokes back to the All-Weather Championships for season six. As an original partner back in 2013, they were hugely important in helping to establish the Championships into the competition they are today, popular with racing fans, punters and horsemen.

Our racecourses are very much looking forward to working with their team over the coming months as we get underway with another fantastic All-Weather Championships season.

Schedule

Arena Racing Company (ARC)

The 2018/19 All-Weather Championships begin on October 23 at Newcastle and will then run for nearly six months as the series takes in tracks up and down the country. The culmination of those months of effort comes on finals day which will run this season at Lingfield Park on Friday April 19.

A £1m prize fund is up for grabs on that final day of competition and a number of top class horses, jockeys and trainers will be in attendance as the series starts to grow in popularity. All the while, Ladbrokes will have a visible presence at tracks that host the races that make up the All-Weather Championships and the operator will hope that they become even more focused in the minds of the horse racing fraternity,

It’s an important deal all round and it’s great to see one of the oldest betting brands in the world getting so heavily behind what is a relatively new arrival on the horse racing calendar and we can now look forward to a great few months of competition on the AllWeather tracks.
