Grand National Latest Offers

Grand National

Like it or loathe it, the Grand National is the single biggest event in terms of betting in the UK. It’s the day when casual punters get off their sofa and head to the local bookshop in order to clog up the system while the trading online increases exponentially.

Serious bettors may be a little more cynical about the event so, if you are looking to get involved, you should at least look for some offers and promotions from around the book. They are just starting to trickle in for this year’s race, which goes off at Aintree on Saturday April 8, and here is the best of what we have so far.

Non Runner No bet

The non-runner no bet promos are fairly common throughout the National Hunt season but many bookies will extend the terms to give you something a little extra for the Grand National itself. Here are the operators who have declared those terms up to this point.

  • bet365
  • Paddy Power
  • SkyBet
  • BetFred

The deals were introduced towards the end of March but all are up and running so you can get involved right away. Obviously you should check each individual bookmaker for any specific terms but essentially this is a straightforward deal – make your selection for the Grand National and if it doesn’t run then your stake will be returned.

Best Odds Guarantee

Welcome Bonus up to £50.00 Visit 10Bet

All of the above bookmakers are also pushing their best odds guarantee scheme ahead of the Aintree race. Again, it’s really only a part of the deal that they provide for all UK and Irish Horse Racing but in this event, it’s additionally important to find value.

As a reminder, a best odds guarantee gives you the higher price – SP or the ante post at the time of your bet. Other bookmakers to publish best odds guarantee schemes include 10Bet, Ladbrokes, Coral and the dedicated horse racing bookmaker Racebets.

Each Way Places

£20 Free Bet

If you are getting involved in a race that is so tough to call then you’ll want to find ways in which to maximise your chances of landing a profit. One way to do this is to look at Each Way places and find out who is going beyond the fourth placed horse to provide an extra place or two for the National.

Often, we’ll only find out further information in the days leading up to the race itself but as of now, here are the bookmakers paying up to 5 Each Way places on the 2017 Grand National.

  • bet365
  • SkyBet
  • Ladbrokes
  • Paddy Power
  • Betway

More bookmakers are expected to join this list and, as in previous years, that list of places could go down to six so keep checking our news feeds for further updates.

Enhanced Odds and Price Boosts

£50 Free Bet

At Cheltenham we saw over 50 offers land promising enhanced odds specials for new customers. Of course, there were four days of racing in total so it was no surprise to see the bookies embrace the Festival but what can we expect from the Grand National?

Bookmakers such as 888Sport, Racebets, Paddy Power and Betway were particularly active in producing new customer offers for Cheltenham while the likes of SkyBet and Winner Sports are always good when it comes to price boosts for existing customers.

At present, we are still waiting for offers to come in but they are sure to arrive over the course of the next few days. Typically, these will take the standard odds and boost them, subject to terms and conditions, up to something that’s rather more desirable.

For example, the price on current favourite Vieux Lion Rouge may increase from around 8/1 to 25/1. That’s not guaranteed but is typical of the sort of deal that we see for the big races so keep watching the updates to see these as they drop in.

This is an unpredictable race, of that there is no doubt, but it’s an exciting one too and the National is a time when all sections of the community come together to place a bet on the outcome. So, whether you’re looking for price boosts, extra places on your each way punt or a non-runner no bet scheme, these are starting to come in and any of the above deals could prove very useful when it comes to the big race.
