England v Bulgaria: Three Lions Seeking Three Points

Euro 2020 Qualifying has been fairly plain sailing for England so far with two straight wins in Group A. Gareth Southgate’s men have scored five goals in each of those five matches and they could expect another big haul when they face bottom of the table Bulgaria on Saturday.

England’s opponents have just two points from their first four games and sit on the brink of elimination so will it be plain sailing for the Three Lions at Wembley in this 6pm Kick Off?

There certainly seems to be little point in using the straight result market if you intend to back England. The home side are as short as 1/20 in places and can currently be claimed at the industry best of 1/11 with Bethard. The draw is the next option on the list at a top price of 12/1 while victory for the Bulgarians is way out at 33/1 with William Hill and Coral.

The days when England used to slip up against weaker opposition seem to be behind us and at home, the Three Lions are a formidable force. The hosts are also close to full strength so, if you like your profits to be tiny ones, we suggest backing England at that price. If, however, you want some better value, it’s a case of checking the side markets.

Individual Goal Scorers

Harry Kane is clear in the first goal scorer betting and you can pick up the Spurs striker at odds of 2/1 with BetFred and SportingBet. Likely strike partner Callum Wilson is available at 12/5 with Ladbrokes and Coral while Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling is listed at best odds of 7/2 with Betway.

England players continue to dominate the individual goal scorer markets with Marcus Rashford quoted at 33/10 with Unibet, followed by Jadon Sancho at a top price of 11/2 with BetFred.
