Bournemouth Extend Mansion Group Partnership

In a short space of time, Bournemouth have emerged from the lower reaches of the football league structure to become an established top flight side. The aim for the club and manager Eddie Howe is to keep consolidating and maybe even challenge the European places and that’s an impressive place to be when you consider that the Cherries were in danger of dropping into non-league football just a few years ago.

Any targets are easier to achieve with strong financial input so everyone involved at Bournemouth will be welcoming the continued involvement of the Mansion Group – the casino and sportsbook who have just announced an extension to their existing sponsorship deal.

Familiar Faces

The news confirms that Mansion Group are on board as the club’s shirt sponsor for the 2018/19 campaign. This will the fourth season that the pair have worked together and the operator has been with Bournemouth all the way since they made their debut in the Premier League.

As the contract has progressed, the two parties have clearly enjoyed working together and both are delighted to welcome the extension.

Great Supporter

Rob Mitchell, Commercial Director at Bournemouth

Rob Mitchell, Commercial Director at Bournemouth said:

I’m delighted that we have extended our partnership with Mansion Group.

Mansion Group have been a great supporter of the club throughout our time in the Premier League, helping raise the club’s global profile, and I look forward to continuing to work with them.

There seem to be no available comments from Mansion Group but it is stated that the two parties have been working together for some considerable time now and that they consider each other to be ‘extended family’. We can therefore assume that the operator is also excited to have signed the new deal with the Premier League club.

Benefits to Both

With the relatively recent launch of MansionBet – the group’s online sportsbook, the tie in with Bournemouth has given the sponsor some obvious advantages. It’s maybe perceived that the Cherries aren’t the most glamourous of clubs but they are in the Premier League and that’s a level that most sponsors will want to tie in to.

As part of the elite league in England, Bournemouth are picked up by the live TV cameras on a regular basis so while fans of the club will be exposed to the Mansion Group across the seasons, their brand will also appear before millions of viewers watching in the comfort of their own home.

Pitchside advertising and marketing opportunities via social media and other digital channels will also aid Mansion as they build their relationship with the south coast club and their wider network.

As for the club themselves, the summer of 2018 was a relatively quiet one in terms of transfer dealings and manager Eddie Howe will go into the new season with much of the squad that contested the previous campaign. There are some new faces, including left back Diego Rico who arrives from Spanish side Leganes but overall, the Cherries have been relatively quiet ahead of the current campaign.

Over the three years of their partnership with the Mansion Group, Bournemouth have been able to finance some high profile transfers, most notably that of veteran English striker Jermain Defoe. Manager Howe is one of the brightest young talents and he deserves much of the credit for establishing Bournemouth as a Premier League club but the Mansion Group have played their part and it’s good to see the relationship continuing.
