Betzest Review – non UK

The new Betzest sportsbook first came online as recently as 2018 and in a short period of time they have captured a strong early customer base. One of the reasons for that is a generous welcome offer that was available on inception but as we know, a bookmaker needs to provide more value on an ongoing basis.

As of January 2019, Betzest were not available in the UK and it’s reported that the license from the Gambling Commission is pending. In the meantime, it’s a good chance to take a look at what’s on offer here for those who can access the sportsbook and for those who would like to in the future.

Sporting Markets and Odds Value

Betzest offer a good mix of markets and amongst the following list, only the most obscure of niches are excluded.

Football, Basketball, Tennis, Ice Hockey, Volleyball, Handball, Baseball, American Football, Aussie Rules Football, Bandy, Boxing, Cricket, Cycling, Darts, Futsal, Golf, Motorsport, MMA, Rugby, Snooker, Table Tennis, Waterpolo and Winter Sports.

The most notable absentees here are horse racing and greyhound racing. We know that a number of European-focussed bookies choose to avoid these but it may help to increase that customer base if they were included in the future.

The absence of eSports may be more of a concern and while there is a virtual sports section of the website, this should be expanded to cover one of betting’s fastest growing trends.

In terms of pricing, there should be some definite value in these odds. Betzest won’t appear on the main odds comparison sites just yet but early signs suggest that they will be competitive across the board, but particularly in core sports such as football and tennis.

Banking

Anyone looking to sign up here will find a wide range of funding options with which to get involved. All of the major debit cards are available, as you’d expect, but the list expands with a strong set of eWallets.

Skrill and Neteller are the main providers for iGaming businesses and you can then move on to include Sofort, Zimpler, AstroPay, PurplePay, Entercash and EPS. Click on the payment information tab at the bottom of the homepage to find out about transaction times and other details.

Customer Service

The early inclusion of a live chat operator is a big bonus for customers of Betzest and this will be the first port of call for those looking for help. It’s the quickest and simplest way of finding the answers to most queries and tests have shown it to be fast, effective and responsive.

There are alternatives, however, and these start with a set of Frequently Asked Questions. They are fairly basic but if the query is a simple one then they will be fine. Finally, there is an online webform that steps in where detailed questions can be laid out in writing. Overall this is a comprehensive set of help options and it’s also an effective one.

Conclusion

Betzest have made an impressive start to online life and, for those that can access them, there are some very good reasons to get on board right away. Those reasons start with a generous welcome offer although it would be good to see some ongoing deals come in for loyal customers.

The set of markets is an extensive one and, in the main, it only excludes the more obscure of niches. It would, however, be good to see it expanded, particularly in terms of adding eSports bets. Add in a strong infrastructure with plenty of help and payment options and this is a bookmaker with lots of benefits for those looking to add to their portfolio.

Pros (+)

  • Wide set of betting markets
  • Competitive prices, particularly on the most popular sports
  • Extensive set of payment options and help facilities

Cons (-)

  • Absence of eSports, horse racing and greyhound racing may deter some sign ups
